This message keeps popping up.

I have  5.0.13A  firmware and UI. Using the new Zwave dongle.

I’ve restarted ISY and AC. Cleared java cache. No joy...

i cant even save a program because this keeps popping up.

Thanks for the help,

Good to know others are seeing the TOS appear. What is causing this to happen and how do we resolve this issue??

Michel, No big deal but I never saw a response on my ticket. I know you responded but I’m not sure what email it went to. I responded  about not getting a response via the support ticket page twice but it kept timing out and I couldn’t tell if the message was being sent. I simply stopped because I didn’t want to pester you while you’re working on the device mentioned in “where to next”.!!!

On further digging I read to check cables and network switches between my ISY and router. I verified all cables were fine. My ISY was wired behind two switches so I ran a new dedicated cable back to my router....Haven’t had any error messages since. ??

I checked junk mail the other day and saw nothing.  I was thinking maybe I put in the email incorrectly....I’m saying that on the support ticket page that it never showed that my message made it through and no buttons would respond. It looked like it was stuck or it had timed out. I have no time outs on my email.

Thanks for telling me what to check!

Very coincidentally when reading this post of  drprm1,  I had the same message popping up as well.  It happens occasionally but does not appear to interfere with my ISY's operations.

I also frequently get pop-ups about communications being lost with a specific device (not always the same devices) when in fact those devices keep working.

This started after installing the 5.0.13b and the new Zwave board.

As I mentioned above, my ISY works fine and these messages are just annoying as these pop-ups come on top of other work I may be doing on my computer.

@asbril,

Are those devices that don't communicate battery devices?

With kind regards,

Michel

No Michel. However when I activate the device (manually or in the AC) ON or OFF,  the device communicates again. As such it is not a big issue but weird.

Another issue that I have had with 5.0.13 is that one specific device (a mimo-lite) has disappeared a few times when launching the AC. After doing a Restore, the device comes back. I have two Mimo-lite devices and it only occurs with one of the two.

Hi asbril,

Does the node actually disappear from the AC?

With kind regards,

Michel

Yes, it has happened at least 5 times

Hi Asbril,

Can you please try doing a restore to get all the nodes back, and then do a synchronize and see if the nodes disappear.  If they disappear then it is because the Z=Wave dongle does not think that device is in the Z-Wave network and thus deletes the ISY nodes for the device.  In this case, you will have to exclude the device and include it again.

Hi Chris, I did as you suggested, synch all nodes and indeed the mimo-lite node disappeared. Unfortunately, this device is somewhat hidden near the ceiling (it controls automatic curtains) and it will take some effort to access it and do an exclude/include. For the time being I am doing a restore to get it back.

Hi @asbril,

Thanks so very much! Can you please send your backup and error log to support@universal-devices.com?

With kind regard,
Michel

Hi Michel, in  view of Chris' suggestion and my reply, should I still send you my backup and error log ?

Hey Chris, good morning....  I was finally able to exclude and re-include the mimo-lite and indeed the device now remains after doing a synch all nodes. Thanks !!!!
