Is there a way to disable the Fast on/off feature on an insteon switch or control pad?

Hi, Welcome to the UDI Forums!

Unfortunately no. If you have linked devices in a scene, Fast On is part of the Insteon protocol.

If its causing problem with a responder, you can partially get around it by not creating scenes between a switch and its linked responder and write an ISY program that sees that the switch was turned on and then turns on the responder. That would stop the fast on from affecting the responder. Unfortunately the switch being turned on will still show an "on" state when double tapped. You could have a program look for the fast on from the switch and turn it back off.
