I just installed my first Schlage Connect BE469 and it's working perfectly fine with my ISY994 Z-Wave running  on release 5.0.15A . I'm trying to write a program to change the status of auto-lock from on to off based on a defined schedule. Can this be done in a program to send configuration codes to BE469 ? These codes can be found here: https://www.schlage.com/content/dam/sch-us/documents/pdf/installation-manuals/24352403.pdf

Since you're using the isy with it, why not just let the isy handle auto locking via programs for you.

By letting the isy do the heavy lifting, you have much more control and options.

That is exactly what I want to do but I could not find the way to pass the configuration codes from a program in ISY. My question was: is this possible, and if it is, how ?

After some more research I found the way. It's very simple. Auto-lock is the configuration parameter # 15. Enter the value of 0 for disable or 255 for enable. Works like a charm.

I was thinking more to lock the door with isy programs. This allows you to configure longer wait times prior to locking as well as not having it lock if the door was open (if a sensor was used).

This is a great lock and works well is ISY.  I just upgraded to 5.0.15A so I'm making sure everything works.  My favorite thing with this lock is I get a Pushover notification telling me who entered my house via correct user code.  Thought I would post those options someone was asking about.

Can anyone share some Program Code Snipets of what they have done with the BE469 Schlage Connect?  I am trying to understand what I can do with it, and such Programming Code will really be a great source of Ideas...  THANKS!

There are few useful programs you can do to use the full capabilities of BE469.

I attached a couple of screens. The first is changing the status of the lock from auto-lock to manual. This is useful if you forget the door unlocked at night. In my case, after 10:00 PM, the door locks itself automatically. The second one is sending me notifications when the door is locked or open.

THANKS Oper 8 !!!  I will try it out.

Was your first statement that there are very Few things one can do with the ISY and the BE469 Schlage lock???  Just to be sure.

I ask as, I know someone that has same lock and Smart Things and from an app they can use from Anywhere, they can check lock status, lock it of course, and Create and share new PINs with friends and family, and later, delete them when no longer needed ...

Hello All,

I recently upgraded to the series 500 zwave chip and ISY 5.3.0 firmware.  I've noticed a few additional alarms associated with the schlage lock.  I was trying to setup a notification when somebody enters the wrong code in multiple times, but it doesn't seem to trigger anything to the ISY.  I do see alarm events in the event viewer under the main zwave address for the lock, but I haven't been able to get anything to trigger a program.

Has anybody played with this, been able to set it up?

Thanks.
