Zellarman Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I often use either my ipod touch or BlackBerry for remote access to my isy, while the three available pages, Scenes, Devices, and Programs do work, it can be a bit laborious to have to scroll through my long list of scenes, I would like to have a fourth page available where we're able to select specific more often used scenes to add to it so they're more readily available
Michel Kohanim Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Zellarman, With the combination of our REST interface and Web Server module you can make any type of page you would like and customize it as you wish. If you are willing or capable of creating a BlackBerry interface, please let me know and we'll discuss the Network Module pricing for you (tech@universal-devices.com). With kind regards, Michel I often use either my ipod touch or BlackBerry for remote access to my isy, while the three available pages, Scenes, Devices, and Programs do work, it can be a bit laborious to have to scroll through my long list of scenes, I would like to have a fourth page available where we're able to select specific more often used scenes to add to it so they're more readily available

See the REST documentation for details about ISY's API. Use any web browser to discover the node or program ID that you need to access. 2. From Safari, open the applicable URL. 3. Click the + button and select Add to Home Screen to create a button. These steps can be repeated to create as many buttons as you need. Example to run a program: http://username:password@192.168.x.x/rest/program/0032/runThen Replace username, password and the ISY IP address with your own. This also works over SSL if you have Internet enabled (replace http:// with https:// and omit username:password if you are concerned about losing your iPhone/iPod). For full control of the ISY, I like to use the excellent (and free ) IsyAjax application, but for quickest access to frequently used commands, these buttons work great. -Jim
