Fibaro Flood Sensor False Alarm

Featured Replies

I'm over an hour away from home attending my grandson's commencement ceremony when I get a text... “Water detected in the basement”.  To make a long story short it was a nervous situation and when we finally got home not a drop of water was around the Fibaro (FGFS-101 v2.1) sensor.  I brought the sensor upstairs and everything seemed to check out okay.  I manually wet the sensor and received the same alarm.  The only think I can think of is a high humidity level in the basement.  I bought the sensor in December so this would be the first exposure to hot/humid temps.  Has anyone ever experienced this before or perhaps have a suggestion on what the issue could be?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
