Moshe Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Is there a simple way to create an ALL ON and All OFF command for a KPL button, without having to add all devices to a scene for a specific KPL button? Thanks
Michel Kohanim Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Hi Moshe, Unfortunately not. All on/off use group 255 and KPLs can only send groups 1 through 8. With kind regards, Michel Is there a simple way to create an ALL ON and All OFF command for a KPL button, without having to add all devices to a scene for a specific KPL button? Thanks
Moshe Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 Michel - I am not sure I know what you mean about the use of "Group 255" and KPL's send "Groups 1-8". I also want to clarify that that I am asking about insteon ALL on/off not X-10. Thanks
Moshe Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 MikeB - That would be fine, but I guess I have to add all devices to program individually. Thanks
MikeB Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Hi Moshe - This might work for you. Give it a try: If Control 'KPL Button' is switched On And Control 'KPL Button' is not switched Off Then Set Scene 'My Lighting' On Else Set Scene 'My Lighting' Off
Moshe Posted June 23, 2009 Author Posted June 23, 2009 MikeB - Thanks - Will this work with the IRLinc Receiver - IR to INSTEON as well. Thanks
MikeB Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Hi Moshe - I'm not sure, I have not tested. If it doesn't, you might want to add additional commands to the THEN and ELSE.
