Have you looked at the online manual for instructions or the mfg?

The  "menu" does not have z-wave option.  Is there another place?

Wrong model for the installed firmware ?

 

'No wires in hatched areas'? perhaps you damaged th zwave circuitry

My simple thought is that the unit is mislabeled or has the wrong firmware.  Next step would be contacting Trane support.
