Flex Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 I just received a new revision 2.5 PLM through Amazon (yes, Amazon was also the seller) yesterday. The date code on it is 1119. This date code would indicate that it was built in the 19th week of 2011. I find it rather hard to believe that they would still have stock from 2011, especially with revision 2.5. To me it would be more likely to have been built in the 11th week of 2019. So, does anyone know if they have changed their date code format? All my other PLMs have had the year first, then the week of the year for the date of manufacture. Another clue could be the Insteon address, the first set of digits in the address string is over 50. BTW, Amazon is currently running a $20 coupon sale on the PLM. Will
Brian H Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Maybe they changed things. On the white sticker on the back of mine. Six digit ID, Model 2413S, Revision 2.5 4718. In my case 4718 sounds like week 47 of 2018. 1119 on yours does sound like the format was changed and is week 11 of 2019.

Will Smarthome has it now for $43.99 with their black Friday coupon code BF2019.

Even with Smarthome's cheapest USPS shipping at $34.65 and the BF2019 discount, the total comes to $78.64 USD. (about $107.34 CAD) That's if you don't get caught not paying HST. Compare this to aartech.ca's price of $107.34 CAD and the price is roughly the same, shipping about two days instead of weeks, and you will actually get a valid warranty instead of just tossing the device in the trash.
