Insteon dimmer switch's LED bar blinking

Featured Replies

I have a couple of Insteon 2477D dimmer switches that have its LED bar blinking from time to time.

It happens while they are off, and it's irregular.

It's not causing any functional issue as far as I can tell, but it's annoying.

How do I troubleshoot this? Replace them altogether?

Click on  the options in the admin console device page. Make sure the "blink on Tx" is disabled..

If that doesn't work, right click on the device in the admin console device tree, and select "Restore".

If that doesn't work, factory reset the device and then do a Restore from the admin console.

It worked like a charm!  The option was "LED on Tx", BTW.

What does the first option - "Program Lock" - do?

Disables manually programing. Prevents accidental programming with the set button.

So, it doesn't prevent programming with admin console, right?
