KPL lights to follow.

This as far as I know the LED follows after an All On/Off call has been working for quite a while. I think that was the KPL workaround that was released in 2.3 firmware.

And you can take it a step further and have the All Lights button LED update when any light in the scene is turned on with the first program from this thread. That way the All button is ready to toggle the lights in the correct direction.

Mark: Thanks, but I had some problems a week ago with hanging problems, so i rmoved the follow program. I would like to have it back if possible. There is one good side effect from not having it and that is that if I did have a powere outage and ISY and the system comes up, with an uncalled for power-up of an Insteon switch, Isy will turn all off, but the KPL light will be on telling me of tha particular errant-on! I'd rather have the lights follow though. aLf

Hello aLf,

No updates from SH yet (i.e you cannot expect the KPLs to respond to the All On/Off commands disseminated from CLs/RLs/ISY). So, at the moment, the only possible solution is as you had previously implemented:

-Put all your devices and KPL buttons in an All Off scene as responders. On the KPLs, make sure you add the sub-buttons before the load

-Make sure you do not put the KPL button that's controlling this scene (if any) in the same scene

Now, everytime a schedule/trigger turns off the scene, all those backlights should turn off as well.

I think the problem we were having last time had to do with the PLM communication problems. So - whenever you get a chance - please do try this scenario and let me know how it goes.

Thanks so very much,

With kind regards,

Michel
