No more 9 minute ramp rates

I just received two new Insteon SwitchLinc Dimmers and discovered that when the ramp rate is set to what used to be 9 minutes they now use a 2 second ramp rate. It looks pretty odd when all my outside lights fade except one.

 

I called Smarthome and they said that the 9 minute rate has been changed to 2 seconds. I have to admit that 8 minutes is probably long enough and if the 9 minute would have defaulted to 8 minutes I probably never would have noticed.

 

On the good news, no longer does the switch need to be reset to read new local parameters.

Hey Rand, out of curiosity can your new SL dimmer LED’s be dimmed like the new SL relays can be?
