Posted April 18, 20205 yr Hello, I just got a polisy unit. Trying to connect it to my system. Trying https://polisy/ does not work. Things just time out. I looked a Router clients and I don't see it on the list, neither via mac address nor an IP address. Have reset the Polisy several times. Not sure what to do next? Ideas? tnx Jeff

April 19, 20205 yr Make sure your Ethernet cable is plugged into the port closest to the db9 port (right side of polisy if you were looking at it from the front of the polisy). Once plugged in, connect polisy to power.

April 20, 20205 yr Author Ok, Newbie victory! I bought this app for Mac. "iNet Network Scanner" It let me find the IP address for a WIRED device (can't see this with a Airport Utility). So once I found the Polisy, could just type in the IP address and Bang! I'm up and running. Hope this helps someone else. Thanks to everyone with ideas!
