How many programs do I need

This question will be basic for most but what im trying to do is ramp light levels up based on day of time eg. 6am motion sensor   turn up light to 40%, 8am turn up to 100%, 10am do not on up till 6pm then in reverse order ramp it down, does this need individual programs or can this be a single program, any examples would help...tks

Typically you would create a program with a time trigger for each change of level desired. Out them all into a folder with an appropriate name and never have to look at them again.

Also, depending on how many devices and which firmware version...

 

For times you don't want them to react, if on v5+, you can set them to "ignore" (at least I think that started in v5).
