There was a small update to Polyglotv2 recently and the log is still writing, just to a name that the UI doesn't see. It's fixed in an upcoming version that will hopefully be released soon.

Thanks for the heads up, Jimbo.

The latest Polyglot 2.2.11 is released for Polisy the changes are all internal.

https://github.com/UniversalDevicesInc/polyglot-v2/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md

We are working on getting it released for RPi as well.

@Jimbo From the CHANGELOG:

  • Fix to create link to default debug.log name
  • Fix Download Log Package to include debug.log data instead of soft link.

This is NOT the fix for the log not showing the UI. Correct?

Yes, it is.

How do you update Polyglot on Polisy?

I'm using Polyglot version 2.2.9-5 but not automatically offered the option to upgrade. Check for Polisy upgrades yields no updates available banner.

@Jimbo, I'm running 2.2.11 with a 2.2.9-5 Front End and my log is still not updating.  My FreeBSD is 1.2 P3.  Am I missing something?

It looks like I got it on the 7th just by updating normally.  The front end still says version 2.2.9-5, however.

For some reason, this upgrade didn't fix the log issue.

Looks like there is an issue with the release, not everything got updated.  I've asked @xKing to look into it.

Thanks @Bumbershoot and @Jimbo I was fixated on the 2.2.9-5 value that I didn't notice that this was for the "frontend." My version for the backend is 2.2.11 so all is good - we are all seeing the same thing.

Operationally, no issues. everything is working as it should for me.

My version remains on 2.2.10

What should I do to get it to 2.2.11 ?

@JimboMine is showing 2.2.11 but the Polyglot log is still not showing correctly in the UI. There are no new packages showing and  I've tried restarting and rebooting the Polisy.

Yes, as I mentioned, there is still an issue. Hopefully a new release can be generated soon.

I've got 2.2.13 running, and the logging is back.  The new version came through the regular update process.

Nice. @Michel Kohanim just released it this morning and I hadn't had time to test the official release. Thanks for confirming.
