New generation of insteon devices

There's the mention of legacy Insteon devices, so it sounds like there may something else going on at the protocol level.

If I had to guess, i would suspect compatibility with newer insteon devices. I2 and below probably wouldn't work. Definitely no x10.

Unfortunately, those who do know exact details wouldn't be able to say what they know

I also would think I2 and I2CS would be supported. X10 support for new things went away a few years ago.

The biggest thing I would hope will happen. They give UDI the needed information to properly interface with them. I know of. A few times in the past. Where the information was not shared or was incorrect. I believe a few devices. UDI did its best to get some data on their own through tests.

News to me too. Except for seeing an dated module to replace the PLM in the FCC Database. Looked like it had a faster 4000 Link memory. Universal power supply for possible overseas use and a AC input plate that could be flitted with different power plugs used in other parts of the world.
