eas1205
Just bought the Go Control 2 button wireless zwave switch in the the link below. I successfully added it to the ISY, but it shows up as "ZW032_1 - Uninitialized". I can't seem to do anything with it or use it to control any other devices. Any help on getting this to work is appreciated. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BKWG9XS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Link to comment
lilyoyo1
Firmware and UI? If you arent on the latest firmware, most likely it wont work. I would recommend using at least 5.0.16c then trying. This is especially true if you are still on the 4.0 branch. Link to comment

You can't go past that version with your current 300 series z-Wave board. Before upgrading beyond 5.0.16c you must upgrade the z-wave board in your ISY. UDI does have special pricing based on the age of your ISY. Link to comment
eas1205
Got it. What is the benefit to upgrading my z-Wave board? Link to comment

But: 1) will allow you to upgrade past 5.0.16c when/if needed. 2) z wave backups are a lot faster on 500 board (not something that is needed often, but nice) 3) If you have all z wave plus devices it will give you advantages of zwave plus. eas1205
Thanks going to add the 500 card now and just get it done. One more question- with the latest version am I able to set the on-level of a zwave dimmer switch? This is something I always could do easily with Insteon switches, but do not see it as an option in the 5.0.16c for zwave dimmers. I've gotten around this with writing programs, but getting to be a pain with the # of devices I'm adding. Link to comment

No. Unfortunately zwave devices all have different ways of accomplishing this unlike instrument. Link to comment

Let's assume you want the on-level to be 30 % : IF ZW XXX is switched ON (manually switched ON) THEN Set ZW XXX to 30 % Edited December 30, 2020 by asbril Link to comment
