Portal Access From Google Home - Can't Contact UDI

As the title suggests I'm having problems with Google Home.  My wife complained spoken commands aren't working.  She just hears "Sorry I couldn't reach Universal Devices".  A reboot of the device didn't help.

My Amazon Echo is functioning and responding properly.

Any ideas where to start to diagnose the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Amazon and google go through different servers so 1 can be down while the other works.

Since 1 does work, I'm assuming your setup is correct and google may be having a temporary issue.

You could  unlink your account and the. Relink it to see if that helps as well.

Re-linking worked.  It actually took longer to find the setting than to unlink/relink.

For anyone looking for it:

Click your profile top right in Google Home App / Assistant Settings / Devices / Add devices / Link a smart home device / Universal Devices - select to unlink

Repeat the process and select UD in the long list of service providers to relink.

Thanks!
