Hi,

I switched to a new ISY unit to be able to uograde to version 5.x.

The upgrade went ok as far as I know but I can't seem to get the IR to response to signals I have sent from my remote control.

Is there a reason why a brand new ISY unit would not work using IR?

Is there a special module I need to get it to work even though I purchased the unit with the IR?

Since you've provided zero information about your setup, what you're using and trying to accomplish it's hard to say.

My first guess is that you haven't set up ir properly in regards to your programs.

Actually he wins the prize for the longest ever forum signature.... his entire setup is listed in double spaced detail! ??

But you absolutely correct there's no way to help him from the information present.

Did your old ISY have one?  What I'm asking is do you know how it works and the new one doesn't?  or are you trying to figure out how to leverage it?

I was responding from my phone. His signature doesn't show up on the mobile site unless I use desktop mode which I just switched too. You're right, it is long. Got tired of reading through it. ?

oh I'm sorry guys I guess I should update that. It was a long time ago.

I'll redo it later tonight and shorten it up.

I figured out the problem with the IR.

Seems all my scenes stop working or responding. So just pulling out the device and adding it back into the scene fixed it.

I just have to go through everything.
