My dad lost his password to login to his ISY locally (via browser/ip address).  However his ISY is on the portal.  Is there a way he can reset his username/password with the portal instead of using Telnet and the MAC address method?

UDI may be aware of a method to save his bacon.

Other than that, you can factory reset your ISY. load an ISY image, restore a good backup, and be back in business with new security credentials in about an hour.

If you can login with the Admin Console to your Dad's ISY through the portal, then you can use File/Set Credentials and that will reset the local credentials for ISY.
