One thing that stands out is your Java cache needs to be cleared and you should be using the launcher on the update page 2
JShanahan Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 Java is clear, any advice on what to do from here?

Launch the 5.3.0 Admin Console and/or Dashboard by going to the following link: - https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Note: If you have version 5.0.8 or lower installed on your ISY, then use this link instead: - http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/5.3.0/admin.jnlp Note: MAC 10.6.x users must use the following links instead - http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/5.3.0/admin16.jnlp (Admin Console) - http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/5.3.0/dashboard16.jnlp (Dashboard) If you did follow Rule 7, then you should have UI v5.3.0 2
JShanahan Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 Do you have to clear the cache every time you reload the admin console?

MrBill Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 12 hours ago, JShanahan said: Do you have to clear the cache every time you reload the admin console? The important issue is that the Firmware version number and the UI version number must always be exactly equal. When the firmware is upgraded, you must make certain to get the new admin console. After clearing the java cache, the link https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp should get the correct version of the UI automatically. What won't work is clicking an admin console that you already have saved.
asbril Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 What people may overlook is that you may have changed or deleted a device/node that was in the program. When that happens, an green error message appears in the program and then icon goes yellow. This happens to me also when I tinker with a nodeserver, such as removing the nodeserver and re-installing it. I have learned from experience that I then often forget programs that include a node from that nodeserver.

In this case tho, the OP upgraded to V5.3.0 but was still using V4.6.2 admin console... those two don't mix at all.... 1 1 1
