Is there no replace function for 8 button keypads? If I right click on regular switches there's a "replace device with" option. Not seeing it that on keypads. Is the only only option to reprogram the?

It exists for me. 

If you only have one 8Button keypad that may be why it doesn't show up, add the replacement device to the ISY and check again.

Make sure it's not in a folder. I had a 6 button keypad in a folder and it didn't have the option to replace device. I removed it from the folder and the option appeared. 

If I moved it back into the folder the option went away again.

@Geddy is absolutely correct!  It can't be in a folder.    Another issue is that it can't be dimmer vs on/off, they both must be the type.
