Any advice. ?Get a polisy with zwave or add a zwave board to your ISY and start building a new side system as needed....or start getting some WiFi items and use NSes or NRs to control and input things.I doubt we will see the Insteon basic building blocks disappear for five more years once the accountant wakes up.Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
peterathans Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Curious about the comment "Get a polisy with zwave or add a zwave board to your ISY and start building a new side system as needed" -- does this imply that Polisy with z-wave and an ISY with a serial PLM can work side by side, and then slowly I can change my Insteon devices over to z-wave? What about using a Polisy to control my old Insteon devices as well as new z-wave devices by itself, getting rid of the ISY? (The idea being I'd like to move away from Insteon entirely and change everything over to z-wave). I've been happy with Insteon over the years but am getting worried about availability and longevity.

Some of the Insteon products are sold out do to either chip shortages or shipping delays. Unfortunately we've been unable to get a meaningful answer from Smarthome as to what was discontinued, what is delayed and when they will be restocked. UDI is currently developing migration software that will allow you to transfer your ISY data to the Polisy which is an updated replacement for the ISY. 1
