Kalid43 Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 I'd love the ability to use a program to trigger a change in the LED brightness in a KeypadLinc. The keypad in our bedroom is too bright at night, so I'll dim it before bedtime. But then, its not bright enough during the day. I'm not sure if this is a difficult request or not, but it would be a nice add. Also, based on the issues I've been reading about with the IRLinc (2411T), I'd love for UDI to rekindle their efforts on the ISY native IR Transmit solution! I've got my fingers crossed! Thanks for all the great work you do. Scott

Michel Kohanim Posted December 23, 2009 Posted December 23, 2009 Hi to both, It's already implemented in 2.7.7/2. With kind regards, Michel
Guest Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Is it possible to change the KeypadLinc LED brightness through a program? For example, in a bedroom after 10PM the keypad could go dark. I thought there was a way to do this but can't find the option - I wonder if it was in my old Powerhome install?
LeeG Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 The Insteon Action statement, the one used to turn the KeypadLinc Primary Load On/Off, further down the pulldown list is Backlight level. It applies to all the KeypadLinc buttons.
propman07 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I had the same issue/desire to dim the KPL LEDs at night. I wrote a small program that takes care of it, although the KPL LED at 0 brightness is still a little bright. http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=8074
