This is the current version of that product.

And it is currently on sale.

X10 does not appear to be affected by the chip shortage.

I really don't see many people buying x10 in large quantities to do their home.

Just like the USB PLM, they're in stock due to being unused vs being produced in high volume

I sent a giant box of X10 modules and controllers to electronics recycling a few months ago.  X10 had a good ride.  My first X10 devices arrived in my possession in the late '70's... 40 years later I finally retired the last few.

I still use X-10 for temporary applications where I just need something quick and don't want to build out some radio network or clutter up ISY installing a bunch of temporary Insteon modules. I don't plan to get rid of it any time soon and will continue to collect some more when I find a bargain priced source.

I was using X10 at Christmas through 2019.  In 2020 I picked up a bunch of Kasa plugs, which retired the last of the X10.  I now have enough "spares" of Insteon that I didn't need X10 anymore at all.   The box of "X10 stuff" i got rid of was like 4x4x4 packed, I was a dealer in two different stints tho, a shorter one in the 80's and then in the 90's thru early '00's my wife had a large high-end lightning showroom and X-10 we stocked X-10 locally and sold it for the smarthome catalog price.  I spent most Saturday mornings at the store solving peoples X10 problems, they had an A-frame sign outside for Saturday mornings "The X10 Doctor is in".....

I sometimes use my old BSR modules for outside Christmas lights. Now I find they cost too much in vinyl tape to seal out the rain and snow. Also that white tape is really hard to get off when it is cold in February and that means dragging the whole extension cord and lights into the warmth to get it apart.

I have a few x10 brand modules still in a box along with several iPads that 'may come in handy some day'.

BRB: I have wind the grammophone again.

My Insteon modules are old enough to have an X10 Primary Address in them.

I use an X10 HR12A sixteen unit code remote to some times control them. My XTB-IIR has a TW523 emulation connection. So a WGL V572 will process it.

Also a PF284 Powerflash connected to my furnaces Alarm output. To sound a PH508 Powerhorn siren and flash a LM15A Lamp module with a RED LED bulb in it.
