DeanO Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Up until midnight last night (December 10, 2021) everything was working fine as it has been for the last 6 years with my isy994i/IR PRO. But after midnight (this might just be a coincidence) all manually triggered programs (by fast on/fast off with the light switches) stopped working. For troubleshooting I tried unplugging the ISY (as well as unplugging the ethernet and power line module from it including unplugging the power line module from the electrical outlet), cutting the power to the light switches in question to reboot them, removing and recreating the programs in the admin console (yes I saved them as well), upgrading the firmware to Insteon_UD994_OADR v4.9.0, all to no avail. The programs with time based triggers still function, just not the ones triggered by manually doing a fast off or fast on with a light switch. All affected devices can be turned on and off through the admin console and the app on my iPhone so I know the insteon controller is still working, just the manually triggered programs stopped working. Any help would be appreciated.
Techman Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Run a diagnostics, show device link tables then compare link tables on one of the devices that quit working. If there's a mismatch the do a restore device. Is your ISY firmware and UI the same version?
DeanO Posted December 12, 2021 Author Posted December 12, 2021 I have confirmed that the ISY firmware and the UI are both v.4.9.0. As for the diagnostics, I checked 2 of the devices that stopped working. One device the links matched, the other one there was a mismatch to which I did the restore device. They still don’t work when I trigger a fast off/fast on. So that did not correct the issue.

What version of the ISY do you have, the 994i or the older and discontinued 99i

hart2hart Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 Sounds like PLM may be going bad. Do restore PLM an see if they start running again. Other possibly is major line noise but since all I doubt it. 2
DeanO Posted December 12, 2021 Author Posted December 12, 2021 Doing a restore of the PLM seems to have corrected the issue. I will keep an eye on it for the next few days and will update this topic if the problem persists with other devices or other issues come up. Thanks for all your help.
Techman Posted December 12, 2021 Posted December 12, 2021 It doesn't appear to be PLM related as the ISY is able to communicate with the devices, It looks more like a firmware or programming issue.
