In an attempt to control some new wall sconces, I elected to try out a Fibaro Universal Dimmer 2. Simple On and Off is flawless. However, there is a listed dimmer but there is zero range to select other than 0% and 100%. Am I missing something?

Has anyone had any luck with any z-wave dimmers that are wired in, but not actual wall switches? I have a historic home and the thought of modern looking switches being seen is unnerving.

Thanks everyone!

It would be helpful if you post your Isy firmware and UI

Do you have the 300 board (light on back of ISY) or 500 board (no light). If you have the 500 board, Id recommend upgrading to 5.3.4 to see how things work. Most likely, you'll need to set the parameters using the owners manual found on the mfg. website

IPapp, did you have any success with this? I am looking for an alternate for the 2442 Micro Dimmer Module since they have been unavailable for a year or so (and I'm guessing won't be ever again).

@tomho you need to tag @IPapp in your reply for them to get a notification of an update. To tag you have to use the @ sign and then start typing their name and actually select (either arrow down and enter or click the name). It should then show up as the blue "tag" above.

Hope you get an update on this. What version z-wave controller are you using?

Thanks.  Learn something every day.

My isy is 994i v.5.3.0, and it's Z-wave (21100). If that doesn't answer your question, let me know.

I hate to say it but there has been zero progress with this. Sorry about the delay in reply, work has been a circus as of lately.

Not a problem I understand, thank you for the reply.

As a side note, I am just now trying an Aeotec Nano Dimmer ZW-111-A which seems to be working so far.

What odds? I have that same module sitting on my desk at this moment. New in the box. Glad to hear it has been working out.
