I just ordered one myself.  Michel said this works.  Unlike a PLM it does not use the powerlines for communication.  But it still works using the wireless connection.  A good solution (only for IoP) if the PLM is gone for good.

I bought one to use with IoP. I made an offer of $34; the seller accepted. It will perform better if a dual band device is nearby. Wired PLM works better if you have a lot of electrical noise in your house wiring.

I have a few of those. I swapped back out to the PLM. During testing, had nothing but problems. 

Polisy was in the same location trying to talk to the same devices. Tried 2 different USB sticks. Communication was much slower and many times polisy wouldn't see the button presses. Swap to the PLM, the issues were gone. 

This was before the latest updates so it could have changed
