ISY994 FW 5.3.4 - Upgrade Failed: Failed uploading file

I have two ISY994i's, #1 running 5.3.4 and #2 running 5.3.0. Both are running normally, and I can log into the Admin console on both if I do it correctly. I have downloaded the zip for 5.3.4, and when I try to manually upgrade #2, I get to 95%, and then get an error "Upgrade Failed: Failed uploading file(reported written size is invalid)". This happens while it's loading udi.css. Windows 10, current Java, cleared the cache, etc., etc., etc. Any thoughts?

After you've double checked you have the correct file for your system make sure three things:

1) Do not unzip the file - the upgrade process uses the .zip file

2) Perhaps set the Java memory to a higher level (512 or 1024)

Quote

Java runtime memory (when Admin Console is very slow to respond)

-      If the admin console is slow to respond, it is likely you need to increase the amount of memory allocated to the Java runtime (JRE).

-      Open the Java Control Panel, select Java tab, press View button, then add or modify the Runtime Parameter -Xmx to the following:

o   -Xmx512m

-      Press Ok to close the window, then Press Apply to save the changes

3) It could be a corrupt MicroSD card. Before replacing the SD card though I might suggest opening a ticket with UD Support (https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets/) just to try before going the whole card replacement or card formatting route.

@JacktheRipper, I'm having the same issue. Were you able to resolve it?

I'm accessing the ISY remotely, using Launcher, win 10, fresh java install. I sometimes get a DHCP error from the ISY when I launch the admin console, but not always. Otherwise it always fails about 80-90% of the way in. Same results on 2 different computers, 1 Mac and 1 win10.
