Is the ISY994i still being developed? Is it ok to ask for enhancements?

As asked in the thread title, I just want to know if the ISY994i is frozen at end-of-life because the new Polisy is the focus of UDI's attention now. Or is it still ok to ask for firmware enhancements?

You can ask.  it's possible the enhancement makes sense for IoP also...  it which case it maybe possible to backport it to the 994 firmware as well... or not....  anyway there's actually a place for product enhancement requests to be posted, which is a good thing... in a regular thread they might get lost.

As long as it's being actively sold by UDI, I see them updating the 994 though not as often as polisy or with the biggest potential updates which could possibly bog it down.

It's worth requesting though. Even if it doesn't happen with the 994, maybe it will with polisy. That way should you upgrade in the future, you'll have what you're looking for

994 is still active and will have bug fix releases. All our OEM is 994 based!

This said, however, most of our energy and resources are spent in enhancing Polisy and not 994.
