Sorting or re-classifying subjects under a common Posting

Hi,

This is Clarence Martin.

Can the postings be re-sorted?

I am as guilty as anyone in this, but there are several postings listed under different threads about the Motion Sensors. This makes a one source of information a problem.

I am seeing questions that are similar or even repeated because the answers or information is in different postings.

Like I said - I am very guilty of causing this problem for which I apologize. How can these postings be moved to a common posting after the fact?

I realize that this could be a real tedious task for the administrators of the forum. Maybe this could be an option that is offered to the original author of the posting.

It probably goes without saying that searching for an existing thread on the subject is generally preferred to creating a new one. I specifically remember several conversations about motion sensors from a few months ago. Granted, that's not always easy because this is a very active forum. Additionally, it's also somewhat difficult as these devices have a tendency to evolve through hardware/firmware revisions.

Unfortunately not.

 

Obviously, there are too many topics in this forum and we should slowly start purging/archiving the old ones.
