Wayne Dalton Z-Wave portable scene controller w/ ISY?

Featured Replies

Bought a Wayne Dalton Z-Wave portable scene controller for my home lighting control system. Want to set it up as a secondary controller to an ISY.  When I try to discover new Z-Wave device in the admin console and follow scene controller instructions to make the device discoverable, it does not find it. Anyone had experience with setting up WD controller as secondary to ISY?

Which model ISY?  That won't be compatible with a 994.  With Polisy, it's not a supported device but if it's USB you might get it to work to some degree, or you probably won't.

Never even heard of it. From my experience, secondary controllers are flakey.

I would ensure both controllers are within range of one another since it won't work if they aren't.  After that, you'll have to follow their instructions on

I'm kind of curious if an extra layer of control causes noticable latency.
