Can only launch the AC from LAN and no longer from Cloud.

I noticed that I can not (no longer) reboot ISY from  PG3 - System. Could that be a related issue ?

@asbril, I have the same issue with Launcher; I can access Polisy through the LAN connection but selecting Cloud does nothing.  There was a change to launcher recently; it is now called IoX Launcher.  I suppose this is in preparation for the launch of eisy.  There's been no official word on IoX Launcher though.  There may be more back end work required before Cloud works again.  Also, if I save my launcher configuration and look at it with a text editor, it's junk, no configuration data.

The Reboot ISY menu selection was removed in the recent PG3 3.1.14 update.  Looks like the Admin Console is the preferred location to reboot ISY.

I just tested on Polisy,  Noting that my ISY Launcher Icon changed magically to IoX Launcher (not sure why). I also see that Admin console will not launch from "cloud" on IoP 5.4.4

Thanks @MrBill. That is some comfort knowing that it is not just me.

Is Nicole done with you?   I was thinking about you last night...

Thanks. The core of the storm was north of us (I am right in the middle between Ft Lauderdale and Miami), but driving on I 95 yesterday afternoon was "interesting"  with very heavy rain.

I had in my mind that Miami/Ft Lauderdale was farther north.  I just zoomed hurricane map enough that it added city names and see you are well South of the path.

Hello everyone, not normal and I cannot reproduce. Can you please click on the Add button and enter
https://1.2.3.4:8443/desc (replace 1.2.3.4 with the actual IP of Polisy). Do you get Cloud on this one?

With kind regards,
Michel

Hi Michel

When I enter that it opens PG version 2, with message that no ISY is connected (which makes sense as I now only use Polisy).

I changed IP address  in PG2 to the Polisy. I don't know whether this is related at all, but now I can again open the "cloud" launcher. :-)

Weird things are happaning.  ISY Launcher changed to IoX Launcher overnight.  I didn't do anything to make this change occur.  The icon also moved on the desktop, from the top left corner of the screen to the next available icon position on the desktop.  I have no idea what effected this change.

My Polisy always shows up in finder as htpps://192.168.1.89:8443/desc

After your post above I tried to add the same entry again per your instruction.  It doesn't add a second identical entry however.   I also tried to delete which also appears to do nothing since Finder found the instance on the network.

I then tried to clear the java Cache including installed Applications and Applets.  The "IoX Launcher" Icon does NOT deleted.  it stays on the screen broken.  image.png.2143aabf91745b717a00937c16c94399.png

Further there is no method to remove that icon from the desktop.  Windows or Java continues to say "could not find this item".  The file at that location in fact does not exist.

Downloading a fresh copy of start.jnlp and reinstalling.... reuses that old icon, which I've never seen before.

However nothing happens when Finder opens and we attempt to open Admin Colnsole cloud, for a Polisy

however opening a Cloud Admin Console for a 994 does work.

What exactly is IoX Launcher and why did this "magically" change on my desktop overnight?

I tried adding this URL, but nothing was added.  Now, that URL is how my Polisy is setup in Launcher, so maybe nothing was added because it's already there.  Admin Console Cloud doesn't work for me, Admin Console LAN does.

Note: I deleted and reinstalled using Start.jnlp

I did not properly read your post (sorry) and had tried that address in my browser.  Just now I added the https:// url/desc  in the launch windows and it says that it is not found.

Even though it worked again about an hour ago, right now again the 'cloud' option does not work.

@Michel Kohanim mentioned in another thread that it could also have been some issues with the UDI website not allowing the cloud option to process correctly.

I have to say I was able to use the cloud option to access the ISY994 while remote yesterday (not sure what time I attempted it). I tried the IoP access via cloud option last night and it worked fine on 5.4.4.

Today everything seems to work fine with IoP 5.4.4.

mine, too, is broken.  My "new" IoX launcher appears on the desktop, but only has the legacy ISY showing.  It does not have the IoP showing.  Trying to add the IoP by using the URL:8443/desc resulted in a "not found" message.

Update your packages, then remove power from the ISY or Polisy.

Power up, now is it there?

I would have difficulty doing this, since my IoP no longer shows on the finder (now called IoX).  The "update package" option is in the IoP, with access to it being no longer available from my updated IoX launcher.

Am I missing something?

You can update packages by pressing the reset, on the front of the Polisy,  button once.

I did not know, or had forgotten, about this.  Thanks.

Fortunately, a good night's rest seems to have done wonders for the Polisy and IoX.  Because of nothing that I have done it is now working.  I can now access IoP and both versions of polyglot from the new launcher.
