Error Messages

Everything working fine until this morning. ISY99

Went to www.universal-devices.com/99i and got the following error messages:

 

Socket open Failed java.io.IOException: A existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

 

and

 

XML Parse Error Http://0.0.0.0.56728/0/d.xml

 

any idea what happened? It used to ask for my username and password...

Hi Dave,

 

This is usually indicative of ISY having a hard time getting an IP address from your router (especially if ISY is on DHCP). There could be two cases:

1. Your router needs reboot

2. For some reason your router assigned the same IP address to another device

 

In most cases, this will cause the MEM/Error lights to blink every 10 seconds.
