Not sure if I am missing something, but I think the "update packages" from the configuration page is what I should be doing. I click that button confirm upgrade. The AC closes and nothing happens. No light blinking no beeps. I waited 30 minutes ??

@ronbo take a look at this solution for similar issue. Option 2 worked for me and several others. If you’re familiar with SSH access and commands give it a try.

I had the same experience with the Update Packages button not doing anything.  I did only #2 of the post @Geddy referred to and it all worked fine. One additional thing not mentioned in the post was after the Polisy/ISY restarted, I had to re-download IoX because it complained that my IoX launcher and Polisy/ISY versions didn't match.

Yes, that’s always been a suggested step in upgrading firmware….at least one I usually follow. When firmware is updated clearing Java cache was once the normal. Sure, IoX Launcher should match firmware, but this time it did seem necessary again. Kind of strange, but was my normal process so wasn’t something I noticed.

My upgrade to ISY 5.5.3 & PG3 3.1.6 didn't work with the "Configuration>Upgrade Packages".  After latest attempt when I powered off/on the Polisy, the IoX Finder failed to detect my ISY on Polisy.  The PG3 was working fine.  I added the Polisy via IP addr in the IoX finder and was able to detect and login but the UUID was 00:00:00:00:00:01 and wouldn't register to the online portal.  Also, devices weren't being controlled manually or via schedules.  ISY = 5.4.5 & PG3 = 3.1.4

until I issued:

sudo /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/udxops.sh upgrade.polisy

Cleared Java cache and now everything is working.  One weird thing, needed to still add Polisy server URL in IoX finder else it didn't detect my Polisy...has always worked in past.

The information shared on this forum enabled me to get everything working again.

Thanks folks!
