Zooz S2 MultiRelay ZEN16 Not Showing All Switches

Strangest thing. Moving some ZWave devices to Eisy and what should be three On-Off Power Switches showing as Binary Switches. Only one On-Off Power Switch is listed. This was an issue some time ago with the 994 but I did not have this issue myself until the leap to Eisy.

We are running:

Firmware: IoX v.5.5.3

UI: IoX v.5.5.3

This is an issue with Zen17 also since moving to ZMatter. Reconfiguring using parameter 2 and 3 does not add the extra nodes. Not sure on Zen16 if it is same parameter or not to do this, but they are similar devices.

I have zooz zen51 installed on my polisy so i figured i should be able to use a zen52.  tried for quite a while and could not exclude or include on the polisy so i contacted zooz customer support.  The zen52 appeared to be stuck in include mode, so i sent it back.

They were able to include and use on their hub, a zbox i assume.

For some reason the single contact zen 51 can be installed, but not the zen52 dual contact.

The same zen52 works fine on my zbox hub at another house.

Is there any update on this for Zen52 since latest IoX update or does it still not work?

I got a couple Zooz ZEN16s on sale that I was expecting to use as a (3) DI and (3) DO module.  The device shows up as an On-Off Power Switch with (3) Basic Assoc Only nodes beneath it and it adds (3) Binary Switch nodes.  No status or commands show for any of the (6) items.  I’ve yet to understand how Basic Associations work and shouldn’t the Binary Switch objects have a status displayed?  How can I get at the DOs & DIs individually to send discrete signals across the Network?

Waiting to hear how it works. I have Zen51 ordered and should arrive tomorrow and will mess around with it. I think I may use it to monitor my lift pump instead of using Zen17 and an AC current sensor on the pump wire, and I can then place that Zen17 to control my gas fireplace somehow, but that is a different project.

Did you try shorting the S1, S2, or S3 with a paperclip or something and see if you get an On/Off for that node in AC? Shorting S1 should also close R1 and others respectively and I would imagine you would hear it (I haven't seen a Zen16 yet but presume it works similar to default Zen17 config).

Zen 17 has ability to isolate the relay outputs from the inputs where the Zen16 they are fixed together. However, UD has not fixed this with Zen17, and the separate input nodes do not show up when Zen17 is configured as isolated.

The ZEN16 is behaving similar.  I only got one node that has a status field, the "main" device.  If I turn this on or off it turns on/off all 3 relays.  Here's what I got:

And looking at the Event Viewer, although you see ST 0 and ST 100 every time the input opens & closes, the node ID is the same, ZY037_1, not 037.1, 2, 3 as they display in the tree.

That one node will turn on off all three but if you don’t use that one then you should be able to turn on off the individual ones independently.

That "local control disabled" option controls whether a separate switch wired to the controller is recognized. It should have no effect on Z-wave operation.

I am finding that most of my Zooz devices misbehave with the Eisy. ZSE42 leak sensors don't show up as leak sensors, ZEN34 Remote Switch isn't seen as a switch, the ZEN17 is only partly recognized, uselessly so, and I could get ZSE29 motion detectors to add only in insecure mode.

Yeah, I know that Zooz doesn't support UD hubs, but these were all working with my ISY994 - why not with the Eisy?

I agree, the only explanation I have seen is something along the lines that UD is using a stricter API for ZWave and some of the Z-Wave hardware use non-standard implantation. However, Zooz is a significant company in Z-Wave so I question this reason - their products work fine with every other Hub out there.
