X10 Pass Through Support

I am using the ISY-26 in conjuction with HomeSeer. I am really happy with the Insteon support whch I think is second to none. One thing I had to give up is using my PLM as an X10 controller since it is now under the control of the ISY instead of HS. Is there anyway to have a feature added (or maybe there is another workaround) to have the ISY simply pass through X10 commands. I don't need to setup any devices or have ISY directly control. Basically if it hears an X10 command it passes that to the HS plugin and if HS wants to issue and X10 command the ISY passes it along to the PLM.

Hi heatvent,

 

The answer depends on HS plugin:

1. All events from ISY (including X10) are transmitted back to the client (HS) ... what is done over there is basically up to the plugin

2. You can send X10 commands from any client to ISY which is immediately sent back to the PLM ... again, it depends on the client how to support x10

 

Obviously, everything would be much simpler and more elegant with 99i and A10/X10 module since you will also get the status of your X10 devices listed in the Admin Console + communicated to the clients.
