Simple program view only

I like the view program and edit feature, but it seems like most of my programs don’t fit the model for editing.

Frequently I would just like to view, and fix something in the console later - is it possible to just have a viewable programs even if it cannot be edited?  Something simple —

thanks,

Steve

Edit: Just realized this post is in UD mobile forum, so my reply is likely not applicable to the question, I'll leave it anyway...

You can make a text copy of all programs....  You have to remember to update it after you make changes tho.

  1. Click the root folder of the program tree often named "My Programs".
  2. Right click the same, then choose "Copy Folder to Clipboard" at the bottom of the context menu.
  3. Open any text editor that won't add formatting (Windows Notepad is an amazing for this)
  4. Paste the clipboard into the editor
  5. File > Save As......

to review programs just open the file and scroll or use Find.

Thanks @MrBill - definitely a clever work-around, I have done this while i did my migration to Polisy.

Seems like something relatively easy to implement in the mobile UI as they already have the friendly export done in the system.  Just show the text for the program selected!

The app's parser does not yet have mapping for anything not shown in app. We will be adding more conditions (if) and actions (then/else) as time permits.
