Very slow migration from isy994

I got my eisy yesterday and went to start the migration today.

Backup of the existing config of 994 was fine then took quite a while for me to find the note about connecting in to the url using the :8443 to the ip address of the eisy as it was not showing up in the IoX finder. 

Disconnected the existing 994, disconnected the PLM, moved the eisy to the same location, plugged in the network cable, put the PLM in to the serial connection kit.

Then on doing the restore seemed to go fine, disconnected the admin console then eventually started responding again and i was able to get back in. Followed the instructions went to Configuration, System and ticked use Insteon then double clicked on one of my Insteon devices.

It then started doing the connect to all devices (system busy) dialogue box and that has been for about 2 hours at this point saying dont make changes / updates. The progress bar is moving but on the 994 this would normally a minute to go through the topology. 

I would normally have rebooted after doing the restore but having clicked on the thing that caused the re-connectioning i didnt want to break / stop it.

Do I just need to be more patient and wait for it to finish or have i borked things? I want to re-ip and add back in to home assistant but currently it seems that none of the Insteon controls are working.

It Finally finished so i rebooted and then opening the admin console it is doing the same slow thing of refreshing the views. 

I will see if any of the programs run tonight but it is like it is not getting a good transfer to the PLM.

@Davey, Make sure that the Insteon support check is still there.  I had it disappear on a reboot for some reason.

@Davey A couple of things to check first:

What's the firmware for IoX? Have you updated it before you tried to migrate into eisy? Current release is 5.5.5. There were some issues with earlier IoX versions that caused migration issues, but they've been fairly good as of late. If you just received the eisy and didn't update it prior to migration you might be having such issues. 

You said you moved the eisy and plugged in the network cable...had you initially set it up on wifi and then changed it to hard wire when you moved it to where the old ISY994 was? That shouldn't matter, but again, if it was older IoX it could be an issue. 

Make sure that your firmware and UI match (help -> about) - They should as long as you're using IoX Launcher (start.jnlp), but always need to make sure.

Do you have a lot of battery devices that you tried to migrate? (I don't so can't help you there, but think that's been slowing some down as well) I think there's a way to turn off writing to battery devices and it might stop the update process from happening next time. Though you do need to make sure all battery devices are migrated properly.

Seemed that the eisy didnt take the update the first time it was still on 5.4.5. (or 5.3.5 forgot to take note of version but saw that it was not 5.5.5)

Factory reset, SSH in so i could watch what was happening, Update to 5.5.5. 
Fresh backup of 994, Restore in to eisy, disable "Query at Restart", shutdown.
Replace 994 with eisy, power on, Test switch by my desk and confirm that control worked.

Update DHCP to set it back to the ip that i wanted for it and reboot.
