All of a sudden, I am unable to run my ISY. I am running Win 11 and have Java latest version 8 installed. I downloaded a new copy of admin.jnlp and start.jnlp but whenever I try to run it, I get the following dialog:

No matter what I choose, it does nothing. I even tried to run "http://192..../start.jnlp" and "http://192..../admin.jnlp" from the browser but still nothing happens.

I have cleared the Java cache and have no idea why it will not run.

The ISY is working and on the network as the programs are running correctly.

Sounds like the file association between start.jnlp and Java is broken. You can try to manually reassociate them or possibly delete Java and start over.

I believe there is some direction in one of the wiki's on this.

I agree with @DennisC the file assocation appears to have gotten hosed.  the best method is probably remove and reinstall java from https://www.java.com

adding tho that you said your running files from the browser... which generally can't be done anymore.  Use the browser to download the file, then run the file from your computer.  If you're using Win11, you should have no problem using IoX launcher, which means download start.jnlp, open the folder and double click start.jnlp, the first time its run it will add an icon to your desktop AND open ISY Finder.   After the first run, just use the desktop icon.

Thank you both for your suggestions. The link was broken and once I reset the link, it works as it did before. Not sure how it became disconnected but whatever - it is now okay!!!

Thanks so much!!!
