Thanks for the info! I was missing the specs on the input power for the eisy.

If and when I try this, I’ll report results back. I just happen to be putting my eisy in a place with plenty of POE ports (need to double check which variant of POE) but not a lot of electrical outlets. It’s not a requirement for me but it’d make some things easier.

The eisy is strictly 12V DC from what I saw on its sales page.

Alas this idea isn't going to work for me, it turns out that 24W is beyond the power budget of a single switch port (UniFi US-8 60W). Oh well, thanks to all for the info!
