IoX ubuntu

Just started trying to migrate to my new Eisy with KDE Ubuntu.

When I run the IoX Launcher it opens a window showing my old ISY994i or my new Eisy depending on what's plugged in.

Clicking on the device Name (ISY Ver 5.3.4 or the new Eisy) shows lines offering Admin Console (LAN) or (Cloud).

However, clicking on either produces no result.  True for both devices.  (The Admin Console opens properly when I try this on my iMac.)

I'm using the latest Ubuntu 22.04.2 and the IcedTea Web from OpenJDK Java Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_362)

The IoX launcher window becomes unresponsive after clicking either of the Admin Console offerings.

Also unless you need an SDK for some reason uninstall that.  Install Java 8 from https://www.java.com If it doesn't detect unbuntu there is an unbuntu download on the manual install page.

you're really complicating things for yourself using the SDK, its not as forgiving, and it's overkill... also if I'm reading correctly you found Java 22?  which I've not even heard of.   The java version number is type of java.. the highest number is not best.  Java 8 from https://www.java.com is all you need.  Don't over-complicate your life with the wrong version of Java or the SDK (i.e. developer tools included.)
