Geddy Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 @pkauf Have you ever had it connected via a node server? The current node server doesn't list the j7+ in the supported product list. I don't have that model so not sure if it should work like those that are listed. Quote This project functions with Roomba WiFi enabled vacuums running version 2 firmware. Solution bpwwer Posted May 13, 2023 Solution Posted May 13, 2023 It's certainly possible that they've changed something in newer Roomba's that breaks the way the node server attempts to access it. Everything related to connecting to Roomba's is based on reverse-engineering how they work as there isn't a public API to do this. Given that it's unable to connect to the Roomba because it is denying the connection attempt, you may need to do something to the Roomba to enable that. Ah, yes, the issue has been reported and it looks like the way to get the password is different for the j7+ and that method is not easily integrated into the node server.

captainc Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 I just got my J7+ and could not discover it either. The info does not say it works with it I gave it a try. The J7+ is a big seller so hopefully it can get set up for the eisy soon. 1
