ParagPA Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Hello, I've had a polisy for a while, but have been happy with my ISY99 - but now am starting the process to migrate my ISY to Polisy. My PG3 is version 3.1.16 and it says 3.1.18 is available. Polisy ISY is version 5.4.5. How do I upgrade? I go to Polisy ISY admin, and go to the LAN Admin Cloud. Then, Configuration -> System -> Upgrade Packages. It says to wait for 4 beeps, which I never hear. There's never a reboot, and it still shows the same versions. Am I supposed to be doing something different? I did try power cycling the Polisy after waiting for the upgrade for a while - but that didn't change anything. Sorry if I'm missing something basic in the instructions.
kzboray Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Before you continue to do anything more, please make sure you have backups of both your IoX and PG3 setups. First read the following post and make sure you have followed all the recommended steps. It sounds like you have, but please double check.https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/37257-polisy-update-process-use-admin-console-upgrade-packages-button/ If that isn't working you can use the front panel button to force an update. Multi Function Button There's a little multi function button behind the very small hole on the front of the unit. This button has multiple purposes outlined below. Every click on the button will cause the unit to beep. If the button does not behave as described below, please update Polisy. Update and Upgrade All the Packages Click the button once. DennisC Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Follow the advice from @kzboray and let us know if that doesn't work for you. Some Polisy units running v5.4.5 had another issue that prevented upgrading.
