saclarkdoc Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 I am trying to Migrate my ISY Portal from my old 994i to my new eisy. I read that the old 994i does NOT need to be on line; it does show up in my account. The new eisy shows up as well, but I cannot get it approved. eisy instructions tell me to go to the Admin Console and then follow Configuration | Portals | +Approve; however, when I go this route, I never see any +Approve step. What am I missing?
kzboray Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 @saclarkdoc You had a previous thread going about a similar issue. So now I'm confused. Do you need to migrate your portal license or are you just looking to approve the portal in AC? For portal migration see the other thread. For portal approval open AC and to go Portal and click approve. Yours should say approve where mine says revoke. 2
DennisC Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Have you done the precursor step of going in to the portal and moving your portal license from your ISY to eisy? Be aware, a license can only be moved one time. If your existing license was previously moved, you will need a new one. I seem to recall some issues early on where you needed to start with a trial license and then you were able to move an existing license to eisy. 1
saclarkdoc Posted June 29, 2023 Author Posted June 29, 2023 My apologies for the confusion. My old ISY (994i) worked perfectly for a decade, then it stopped working. I just purchased a new eisy (my new ISY) but am unfamiliar with all the nuances of the integration process. I also purchased a two-year portal license, but it was immediately associated with the old ISY. So to start off, I have been trying to migrate from the old ISY (994i) to the new ISY (eisy). Starting in my isy.io screen which shows both ISYs, when I try to migrate from my old ISY to my new ISY, I receive an error message "(old) ISY not found," so I cannot complete the migration. Any suggestions?
DennisC Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 You can open a support ticket and UD can move it for you, or you can try plugging in your old ISY and then try to migrate your license. 1
saclarkdoc Posted June 29, 2023 Author Posted June 29, 2023 Thanks, Dennis. I had already tried to plug in the old 994i, but the system still will not recognize it, so I will try to open up a support ticket.
