I just upgraded my isy994i to eisy.  Now as I open the admin console it says it can not communicate with almost all of my insteon  devices and has a red ! next to them.  I am able to control the devices through the admin console, however it does not keep track of status.  I have a serial plm with the new rj45 to usb adapter from UD.

Did you follow all of the migration instructions from the wiki?

To start, check Tools from the main menu and make sure your PLM is connected and it shows x amount of links.

@arosacope

What is your eisy firmware and UI version?

Yes I did follow the wiki for migration.  The PLM is recognized as connected and has 144 links.  The devices are controllable through the admin console, they just all have the exclamation mark.

Try right clicking on one device and select restore device.

Did that correct the problem for that device?

No, I unplugged the PLM power, rj45 plug and usb.  Cycled power on eisy.  After reboot exclamations were gone, however when controlling devices popup window with unable to communicate with device occurs and red exclamation is back.

I'm not clear if you tried restore device from the menu you see by right clicking on a device?

You can also try plugging the PLM in to a different outlet on a different circuit.

Have you plugged in anything different recently? Maybe some LED lights or something with a transformer? If so , it might be causing interference with the Insteon signal.

Make sure the PLM is not plugged in to a surge suppressor power strip or a UPS.
