I’m trying to add my cameras to ud mobile but clearly doing something wrong

rtsp://username:password@ipaddress:port/Streaming/Channels/101

Ipaddress - I’m using the internal NIC IPv4 address, couldn’t see anything else

port - using 554 which shows as the rtsp port

once I get the first working I’m planning on using 102, 103 etc for the different cameras

any suggestions would be helpful

Is this part a requirement of your camera to connect via rtsp?

For my Foscam cameras, after port, I have:

/videoMain

You need to check the rtsp format required for your camera.

Try using the command in something like VLC Media Player to see if you have the correct format.

Yes it is part of the requirement for the Hikvision cameras.

good idea re vlc

Have you checked out this video on youtube.

Some settings on camera side need to be changed.

if as you say, its a NVR and connected to a DVR you will need to adress the DVR

In my case I had to enable on the DVR then...

rtsp://username:password@DVR.IP.Address:554/chID=1&streamType=main&lnk-Type=tcp

Also notice  Linux is case sensitive

Using the nvr ip + case sensitive + testing with VLC did the trick. Thank you
