JSchumann Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Migrated from ISY99 to EISY I have been using email substitution variables "${Alert.control} ${alert. Action}" forever (With ISY) Now with EISY the resultant Email shows things like GV0 0 and GV1 4 vice the actual conditions. Searched the forums and wiki page, can't find anything discussing this. Any help?

For email substitutions, you need to use the complete address, with the appropriate variable, see this wiki info if you haven't looked at it already: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series:EMail_and_Networking_Substitution_Variables For example, for the Elk node server, if I wanted the armed status, I would use: ${sys.node.n002_area_1.GV0}. Where n002 is for my Elk node server. Sometimes if the driver shows up, you need to reboot. 1

These 2 were discussed YEARS ago in the forum and the purpose was to show the most recent trip on the ISY and what it was. They were never documented that I could find. I am hoping there is something similar on the EISY or I will have to write about 20 email notifications.

There may be an impact there, so don't make any changes, see if you can discover why you are in safe mode first.

Just going to disconnect and delete the ISY......will have to figure out the programs over again, not too hard. Would have been nice if instructions said to copy these separately before migration.
