paulbates
I know what I want.. I used pushover in my last house. One of the things I liked and used was pushover's "apps", which sorted notifications into folders. It was pretty cumbersome to set up all the Network Resources to get to that end. Fast forward; I have read the notification server and UDM docs.I have eisy, UDM and the notification server. When I look at the notification service in UD mobile, one of the options is "Add Pushover Service nodes", and when I click it, there's a user and app fields. Before I try it out and stumble through it, I'm wondering what the intentions are or if someone has tried it and knows: Questions This is intended one way: eisy programs/scenes->Notification sever->devices->pushover? I can use "Add Pushver service nodes" multiple times to connect with multiple pushover apps I've created? It shows up as a device I can use in a "Then" statement from my programs to create notifications more simply? Do the notifications sent this way not show up on UDM? Link to comment
Jimbo.Automates
This is intended one way: eisy programs/scenes->Notification sever->devices->pushover? Not sure what "devices" are, but it goes from Notification nodeserver -> pushover service -> devices I can use "Add Pushver service nodes" multiple times to connect with multiple pushover apps I've created? Yes It shows up as a device I can use in a "Then" statement from my programs to create notifications more simply? Yes, it's' documented: PG3 Notifications Node Server Do the notifications sent this way not show up on UDM? No, Only UDMobile notifications show up in UDM. I, and many others, used Pushover exclusively for a very long time from the notification node server before UDM notifications were created. 1 Link to comment

paulbates
@Jimbo.Automates I bought the notification ns and setup pushover, the pushover apps I want and added them in pg3. I'm ready to add notifications with the new 'devices', per app, that it gave me. I've been through the manual, and want to be sure I'm on the intended path here with the below example I want to send a message to pushover, have it go in my 'house operations' app in pushover. I want it silent in pushover. I should pick 'Send sys custom with params' and content should be a custom notification with variable substitution as I did in the past on my 994 with network resources?
