Michel Kohanim
Hello richardl007, I assume you are referring to a Switch/ToggleLinc, correct? The number represents the brightness of the backlight LED from off (0) to 255 brightest. With kind regards, Michel What does the number represent? to goes from 0-255 ? Link to comment

Michel Kohanim
Hi richardl007, For some SWLs, 0 is full brightness (unfortunately). Would you please try 1 and report back. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
mitch236
I've tried many times to get most of my SWL's to dim the LED with no success. I have had three work and they were very important (bedroom). But I am trying now to change the LED brightness of one of my SWL's and nothing happens. It is v.37 in the admin panel. I've tried 0,1,5 and nothing happens. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi mitch236, For SWLs, as far as I remember, 40 was the starting version which supported the LED brightness. What are the firmware version of those that work? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
mitch236
The one's that work are v.38. I wish there were a way to do a firmware update but oh well, I can live with what I have. Link to comment

I have about 100 switches. Thanks! -Dane Link to comment
Brian H
Sorry to report. Firmware is not field upgradeable. Smarthome and Smartlabs don't do firmware updates from the field. Link to comment
