glass break sensor

Not sure where to put this hardware question ...

Looking to build in an acoustic glass break, probably with an IOLink or similar. Or even if there was an integrated device, such as the many cool ZWave modules, that would be fine too.

I am NOT looking to put in a full alarm panel, just add this one element. Preferably wired.

Any suggestions?

This question intrigued me. With some quick searches it looks like Sentrol has some wired devices which will handle a room for $15. They of course are meant to hook to an alarm planel, but your contact input should be fine as well.

below is not a link just the device I followed to purchase and also found a pdf of its manual. Could be a fun project

The Sentrol sensors may not work on an I/OLinc Sensor Input.

I could not find the manual for it.

If it has a dry contact output then it should control the Sensor Input on an I/OLinc. If it is designed to be on a sensing loop and drawing power from the loop then it would not work on a I/OLinc's sensor input.

There is also a Honeywell FG-30, found it on Amazon.

Hard to know if it operates with dry contact out, but the comments seem to imply that it does.
